PLANO, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – A 2-year-old boy was critically burned by hot grease at an apartment in Plano the night of March 1. Firefighters received the call at 8 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 3500 block of Park Boulevard. The boy had burns over 30% of his body, including his face. PLANO (CBSDFW.COM) – Plano police have arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of Jesaias Hiram Nieves, 22, of Dallas. Adrien Javon Grant, 29, of Dallas was arrested and charged with the murder of Jesaias Hiram Nieves. COLLIN COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) — A man living in Plano illegally has been sentenced to 99 years in prison without the possibility of parole after being convicted on continuous sexual abuse of a child charges. Prosecutors say Ismael Lopez was close to the child’s family and with ongoing access to the child, sexually abused the victim over the course of three years — until the child was 13 years old.
