When Jenn and I started chatting on social media about P90X, her husband Mike was skeptical about his wife chatting it up on social media with some other shirtless married guy across the country. Her husband Mike and I now best friends and enjoy least 3 company trips/retreats a year together and 1 annual Ski/boarding […] The post Having a supportive spouse is HUGE appeared first on Home of the Best Beachbody Coaches | ScottieHobbs.com ..read more

Feel Aimless

What do you do when you feel aimless? In just a month I will be turning 43 and I would sit at my desk doing my work and wonder why I wasn’t feeling as ambitious. I would say to myself things like “good thing I was grinding hard when I was younger because I just don’t have the energy like I used to.” The wild thing is that I was getting enough sleep, drinking enough water, listening to personal development, exercising daily, and doing rewarding work so where was the drive and ambition? Where was the high level of energy to strive after my goals? The shift was so small but incredibly impactful ..read more

Killing your Success

There’s something that might be killing your success and I’m going to let you know so that you can look at your life and relationships. One of the best ways to achieve your goals is to have accountability partners. However, you need to be careful in who you choose and pick. Avoid choosing partners who bring negativity, as opposed to positivity into your life. Being around toxic people will only drain you and not help you. In all that you do, ask yourself whether the people and actions involving them are bringing you more joy and health. If the answer is no and shows no evidence of becoming a y ..read more

You don’t have to be picked

Times are certainly different than when I was a kid. I’m older than Google and if you wanted to “make it” the belief was that you had to be “picked”. My friend, you don’t have to be picked. I’m mostly thinking about sports. I had a desire to be a professional baseball player and then later a musician. You’d have to be lucky and have the right agent, label, or recruiter see you at the right time and performing at your very best. Yes you’d have to work hard and develop your talents but there was really no way to pick yourself. If you wanted to be a professional musician now. You just have to dev ..read more

Things might be feeling “off” for you in life, at work, in your relationships, or in your business. I’ve been there and have to constantly be aware of how I’m feeling and my habits so that I can make shifts and adjustments. I’ll share with you 5 Things to Turn your life around. Here are 5 things I changed that turned my life around in my late 20’s. 1. I started taking my family to church, participating in callings and service, and paying 10% tithing (when it seemed impossible). 2. I started working on my health and fitness goals with 45-60 minute workouts daily. I started following a meal pla ..read more

Feel like a million dollars

You don’t need a million dollars to feel like a million dollars. Imagine you are worried about all the things you don’t have, and it’s causing you to be selfish and have a scarcity mindset instead of an abundance mindset. I want to help you flip that focus on serving other people. You may not have the abundance of money, income, or time to give to everyone…… yet. So here’s what you can do. You can open the door for somebody. You can volunteer your time and energy. You can help carry someone’s stroller up a set of stairs. You can put away someone’s cart in the grocery store parking lot. By do ..read more

Frustrated with your Business

If you’re feeling frustrated with your business it might be because you are out of alignment with your integrity, values, and vision.  I’ve been there. A few years ago I had everything I’ve ever dreamed of having. We led a top 10 team, had our first ever 7 figure year, and had massive continually upward growth.  But I was frustrated and stressed. I was more focused on how to make more money, get more influence, and prove people wrong, then on serving others and fulfilling my purpose and vision. What I realized is that for most of my life, I was working to accomplish things just to pr ..read more

I have a Dream

Where the vision started… I have a dream. 13 years ago I sat at my kitchen table and put together my first vision board. As I put pictures together on my board, I envisioned a life where we didn’t struggle with money, the girls had a dad who was always there, we took family vacations each summer to the beach, and I had paid off my mortgage. I wrote goals like: Help transform 100 lives Lead a Top 10 Team Earn the rewards trip Get in the best shape of my life Buy our dream cabin I hung that vision of the wall of my makeshift home gym. Every day I looked at the vision board and asked myself “What ..read more

Easy Residual Income

You might have heard “online influencers” portray the story of easy residual income without having to work. My hope is that you’ve never thought that from me.  My daily IG stories may show a lot of play, being present at kids games, and fun adventure, HOWEVER I work 5 days a week to build my business and my mind runs almost 24/7 thinking about how to better it or help somebody out.  I recently had somebody who’s got about 50 customers and 15-20 partners on their team tell me, “You know, I don’t think I want to grow it to the level you’re at, I’m already working TOO much.” My answer ..read more

My friend Matt Achimon lost his dad 12 days short of his 40th birthday when he was younger. It’s been a huge part of his motivation as a husband and father of 4. He’s on a mission to make life changing money while helping others live a healthier more fulfilling life. He found P90X on an infomercial and knew had had to do something different. Next month Matt turns 40 himself and in honor of his father will be helping 15 others go through the P90X program with him. Every week I have a short phone call with Matt as one of my top partners and it’s an honor and a blessing to do this work by his si ..read more
