FREMONT (CBS SF) — Police in Fremont say they have arrested a man suspected of a series of home burglaries. Beginning in December of 2021, Fremont police said they received reports of “several” residential burglaries in the Mission Hills area. The suspect(s) would gain entry by breaking rear sliding glass doors and then take off with cash, jewelry and safes. Police said the robbers would often cut off the power to the house before entering. FREMONT (CBS SF) – A registered sex offender who was described as having an “extensive criminal history” was arrested on suspicion of soliciting a teen girl walking home from school in Fremont several weeks ago. Fremont Police said Thursday that the suspect had attempted to contact the victim while she was walking in the city’s Centerville district on February 18. FREMONT (CBS SF) – Authorities in the East Bay are searching for a 19-year-old suspect wanted in at least two armed robberies last year. According to a statement from the Fremont Police Department, suspect Joshua Moss-Sanders is wanted for armed robberies in Fremont and San Leandro. He also has a warrant out for his arrest for a parole violation. Police said the robberies took place in August and October of 2021. FREMONT (CBS SF) – Police in Fremont are searching for suspects in connection with an arson and burglary at a Walmart store Wednesday morning. According to officers, a large fire was reported at the store on Albrae Street near Interstate 880 shortly after 8:05 a.m. When police arrived, they found a significant amount of smoke inside the Walmart. FREMONT (CBS SF) — A student was found dead Friday morning at the California School for the Blind in Fremont, the California Highway Patrol said.
