The Killeen Police Department responded to a robbery at a business in the 2100 block of S WS Young Drive around 1:14 a.m. Wednesday. It was reported a man entered the business, displayed a large knife/machete type weapon and demanded property and cash. KPD spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez said Derywin Dobel Williams was taken into custody in the drive-thru lane of the Wendy's Restaurant in the 2000 block of East Central Texas Expressway Sunday night after the victim was shot in the leg. Killeen, Tx (FOX 44) - A 28-year-old man has been charged with capital murder in the death of a two-year-old child in Killeen. Bond was set at $1 million for Ronald Vernon Legette. Killeen Police Department spokesperson Ofelia Miramontez said an investigation indicated the victim was hit with a belt and a stick. Xavier Mason Stokes has been charged in the death of 33-year-old Tres Maurice Carter. Killeen Police were called to the 900 block of Southside Drive at 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, on a report of a shooting and found the victim.
