LAFAYETTE, La (KLFY) -- In 2016, the bodies of up-and-coming model Ashley Metz, and her boyfriend, Brouklynn Hill, were found in separate burned vehicles in Scott and Carencro. Both Metz and Hill had been shot and later set on fire in their cars. The two had been dating for only three months. Joshua Willis, the second suspect on trial for murder is facing two counts of first-degree murder for the June 2016 deaths of Metz and Hill. LOUISIANA (KLFY) -- LDWF announced that the option to buy duck stamps online will now be available. On Monday, LDWF announced customers will now have the option to purchase a Louisiana Waterfowl Conservation Stamp online or at their local license vendor. Customers can also continue to purchase stamps at the LDWF Baton Rouge headquarters office or through the mail. The new 2024-2025 duck stamp will be available for purchase on June 1. LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The North Lafayette Redevelopment authority (NLRA) seems to be on the chopping block. A senate bill in Baton Rouge to would repeal NLRA if passed.
