A bicyclist is seriously hurt after being hit by a car Wednesday morning in Scottsdale. Police say it happened along McDowell Road just west of Scottsdale Road. The bicyclist was taken to the hospital with injuries that are considered "serious." The vehicle that hit the bike fled the scene after the crash. Former Arizona Cardinals and Arizona State University alum Terrell Suggs was arrested Tuesday, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's office. Scottsdale police say Suggs was taken into custody and booked on charges of Threatening and Intimidating and Disorderly Conduct with a Weapon. Scottsdale Mayor David Ortega says he is strongly against a proposed development that would move the Arizona Coyotes to a plot of land near Loop 101 and Scottsdale Road, bordering the city. One person is dead after a shooting involving Scottsdale police officers. Around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Scottsdale Police Department announced that a man was shot and killed in an officer-involved shooting near Scottsdale and Cactus roads. Police say officers were following a vehicle reportedly stolen out of Phoenix.
