Press Release SOUTH BEND — An Elkhart man will serve 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to distribution of methamphetamine. Marcus Harris, 40, Elkhart, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Damon R. Leichty on Wednesday, April 10. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release. Press Release SOUTH BEND — The Indiana State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting involving a police officer with the Notre Dame Police Department. Preliminary information indicates at 4:34 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, police officers responded to a burglary in progress near the 1300 block of Corby Boulevard in South Bend.
