Hutchinson Fire Department responds to house fire that caused other fires

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KSNW) -- The Hutchinson Fire Department, along with other mutual aid, responded to a house fire that caused other fires Monday afternoon. According to the HFD, they were dispatched at 4:57 p.m. to the report of a structure fire in the 5400 block of East 4th Ave. While en route, crews were able to see the smoke coming from the fire due to wind conditions. Work begins on Delano/Chisolm Trail pathway

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- Work begins this week on the Delano/Chisolm Trail pathway. The project will install a 10-foot bike path, with pedestrian sidewalks between Exposition to Osage just north of Douglass Avenue. The path follows the former Missouri Pacific Railroad line through Delano, which once crossed the Arkansas River into downtown Wichita.
