Ribbon cutting held for Evansville’s first Permanent Supportive Housing Home for homeless, foster care, and at-risk youth Abby passed away on April 23 after an unknown birth defect causes a brain bleed several days earlier. Doctors determined Abby's condition was non-survivable, and her family decided to donate her organs and tissues to help others. Suspect sentenced in deadly neglect case involving special needs patient

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The last of three suspects has been sentenced in a neglect case involving the death of a special needs patient in 2020. Court documents show Glenda Fields accepted a plea agreement and was sentenced to two years probation. In the agreement, Fields pleaded guilty to one charge of neglect of a dependent. Fields was one of the caretakers charged in connection to the death of Robin Phillips. HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - The Daviess County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of multiple suspects in a motor vehicle theft that was reported in Whitesville on April 28. According to a release from the sheriff's office, detectives were able to help identify a suspect after they received a tip on the DCSO Facebook page. The sheriff's office made a post on their Facebook page requesting the public's help identifying the owner of a vehicle recorded in the area of the theft.
