COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WANE) -- For years, Hoosier anglers have wanted the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to increase the number of sizable largemouth bass in the Tri-Lakes Chain in Whitley County. To accomplish that goal, the DNR plans to relocate roughly 1,000 largemouth bass from Tri-Lakes each of the next five years. "It's good for us to be able to work with the locals. This year 21 ducklings hatched in the facility's courtyard. Last year 12 hatched. Two proud mama ducks welcomed the ducklings.
