KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A critical service for drivers in the Kansas City area is experiencing a widespread outage on Thursday due to a cyberattack. Kansas City Scout says its systems went down early in the morning, including its website, traffic camera network and message boards around the area. I really don't like some of the trends for severe weather that I'm seeing for Friday or Saturday, and to a lessor degree and likely farther east Sunday. Model data is getting more and more bullish on the potential of rotating storms later Friday afternoon, and then again late Saturday into early Sunday morning. BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. -- The Blue Springs Police Department announced Wednesday night that two suspects are in custody in connection to the shooting at Wilbur Young Park that left two people dead and one teenager injured. Jackson County prosecutors have charged 18-year-old Marquis Earl Lee Savannah with first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
