The nice weather we have seen the past few days will continue into the weekend. We will notice a few more clouds around today as a warm front passes by to our west. Temperatures will be cooler than yesterday, but it will still be warm with high temperatures in the 70s. We will see a gradual warming trend through the weekend and into next week. Some inland spots will warm into the 80s over the weekend, then there will be a few mid 80s to start next week. It will stay dry through the weekend with a mix of clouds and sunshine. MULLINS (WBTW) - In front of dozens of family and friends in his hometown of Mullins, Xavier Legette patiently waited to get his called for the NFL Draft. The Carolina Panthers and him have been in talks over the last couple of weeks and the black and blue traded into the 1st round to snag the former Auctioneer and USC Gamecock wide receiver. Legette, who measured in at 6-1 ¼ and 222 pounds on the Gamecocks’ Pro Day in March, had an outstanding senior season for the Gamecocks, catching 71 passes for 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns. Critical injuries reported in Galivants Ferry area crash, Horry County Fire Rescue says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- Critical injuries are reported in a two-vehicle crash in the area of Ridge Road and Turner Road in the Galivants Ferry area, Horry County Fire Rescue said. Four people were transported to the hospital with injuries and all lanes of traffic are currently blocked. The crash involved entrapment and required extrication operations, HCFR said. HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- Drivers are asked to avoid the area of Highway 707 and Elm Road in the Murrells Inlet area due to a car crashing into a utility pole, Horry County Fire Rescue said. All lanes of Highway 707 are blocked because the utility line is down across the roadway. One person is being transported to the hospital with injuries, HCFR said.
