(WBTW) -- Christina "Kristin" Bennett, Rhonda Jones and Megan Oxendine: Their deaths in 2017 in Lumberton remained unsolved, but authorities haven't given up hope of catching their killer. “These women were mothers, daughters, sisters," FBI Special Agent Glen said in a newly released video about the investigation. FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- An 11-year-old was killed in a shooting in Florence County on Wednesday night, the sheriff's office said. It happened at about 8 p.m. on Clover Hill Road in the Scranton area, deputies said. Brentlee Eugene Crump was taken to an area hospital where they were pronounced dead. An autopsy has been ordered. The Florence County Coroner's Office and sheriff's office are investigating. MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) -- Five people were arrested and face charges after Myrtle Beach police Wednesday morning conducted a search warrant because of "numerous quality of life concerns." The warrant was served in the 1000 block of Poplar Drive at about 8:20 a.m., police said. The names and charges of the five are as follows: James Albert Cook, 41, of Myrtle Beach, was charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A man was shot and killed Wednesday night at an apartment complex in Andrews in Georgetown County, authorities said. The shooting happened at the Arbor Place apartments, and the man was pronounced dead at Tidelands Georgetown Hospital, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office. FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) -- A Mullins man was sentenced to more than nine years in federal prison after pleading guilty to several drug charges, the Department of Justice said Thursday. Maquand Jerome Newell, 41, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl, as well as possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. The very warm weather will continue through the rest of the week. A weakening cold front will dissipate over the Carolinas this morning, and the clouds will clear quickly today. NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) -- A sand sculptor from Florida was in North Myrtle Beach on Wednesday for Thursday's 40th anniversary of "the shag." The shag was adopted as South Carolina's official state dance in 1984. You can see sculptor Dean Arscott's design during Thursday's celebration at the Horse-Shoe in North Myrtle Beach. This 29-year-old man started the profit "Waymaker Off-road Wheelchairs", after his accident. After accidentally getting shot in the side, Jacob Beisecker was paralyzed from the waist down. FLORENCE (WBTW) - Long-time Pee Dee football coach at East Clarendon and Lake City Mickey Moss passed away on Tuesday at the age of 74. After leading East Clarendon High School to the 1985 football state championship and a short stint at Saluda High School, Moss arrived at Lake City High School in 1991 to take over as the head football coach and athletic director.
