So happy to be back here again! After 2 years or more at last I'm back. Thank you to Sofia for helping me  in fixing my account here. I thought I will never use this blogsite again, I'm almost giving up that I will never fix this site again and will become a storage of memories na lang but thanks God talaga. Well if it's your first time to be here, I'm honestly telling you - I am not a writer and I consider informal writing like this as a therapy wherein I can freely say what is in my mind and heart, so its up to you if you will back read some of the articles I wrote or if you will still ..read more

The holidays started today in the gulf. Actually we started since yesterday so its really a long weekend for us since Friday. We will be back to office on Wednesday. Usually on this season people are out of the country and travelling but due to COVID its not permitted and not really advisable to travel. I miss visiting other countries aside from my native. I love seeing God's creation and masterpieces and how He put it artistically into each country. It will cost naman talaga money depends sa countries na pupuntahan mo but for me especially when I reached my 30s mas naappreciate ko ang experie ..read more

In midst of our situation today we are so vulnerable to all kinds of negativity. Social media feeds are filled with news that will make us feel down— the number of positive patients of COVID are rising, just today dito sa Qatar 929 ang new cases, frontliners are getting sick and dying especially sa medical fields, marami na rin ang mga nagsasarang companies at mga small businesses na walang kita, isa na ako don as M is for MINERVA is for the meantime no transactions but God's will malapit na ulit, and marami tayong mga kababayan na makikita or nababalitaan natin na nagugutom. How to stand f ..read more

How's your weekend guys? I hope that though we are still under quarantine, you are still able to spend your time wisely - doing some chores, crafting or relaxing on a couch while reading your favorite book or watching your favorite series. As long as naenjoy mo yung time mo at hindi mo narinig ang sarili mo na nagreklamo ka na "gabi na naman wala na namang nangyari sa maghapon ko" then you spent your time wisely.  I enjoyed my weekend, for me "gold" ang magkaroon ng 2 days off kasi every other weekend lang ako may off ng Saturday and I'm still going to office despite of the pandemic. I know th ..read more

When people heard the word "middle east" the other counterpart word that comes to others is "desert" Try to picture on your mind how does the deserted country looks like - puro buhangin lang, mainit, walang masyadong buildings at walang nabubuhay na mga halaman. Well ganon yung napipicture sa isip ko almost 14 years ago bago ako pumunta dito sa Qatar. Stepping out on my comfort zone - being away sa place na nakasanayan mo, people, friends and most especially family na ever since namulat ka sa mundo kasama mo na. Far away from those "independent" life before they become OFW, hindi ako talaga ga ..read more

Happy to be back here! Its almost 2 years since my last entry. I have so many stories to share with you but I really don't know where to start, for the meantime let's talk about the talk of the town - the Corona Virus or COVID 19. I know all people know who is "COVID". Everyone knows his capacity to break a person's health, to put man into grave and to create fear, anxiety, and worries to all. Sabi ko nga sa officemate ko kung ako ang papipiliin between a war and yung ganitong pandemic virus, I will choose war na lang. Bakit? at least sa war kita mo yung panganib, alam mo kung saan ka pwede ..read more

I love looking at pictures. It shows ones' personality. It depicts emotions - happy, sad, funny and everything that an ordinary eyes can't see.  May 25, 2018, we celebrated mother's day in the church. Honoring the Lord on His goodness and faithfulness to the lives of our mothers. Daughters are also invited to attend the event, how I wish I could be with my mom to be on that kind of event - I miss her. Just finished downloading, editing, and uploading 300+ pictures taken on the event and can't help to have some favorite shots. Thank you to bro.Nan for holding my camera ^_^ Here are some of my p ..read more

Meet the Monk

I remember the first time I saw monks way back 2006 in Bahrain airport. I don't know why I am afraid to them, maybe because I was just shocked because that's my first time to see people who dressed like them and they seemed so serious and doesn't know how to smile. Out of curiosity during our tour at Tooth Relic in Kandy, Sri Lanka I was one of the four campers who entered the temple. I asked first one of the campers if its possible to take photo with a monk. She told me we should ask permission first since like any other not all monks are friendly and will give way. As form of respect, you ..read more

If someone asks you "Who are you?" what will be your answer. That's the first question we encountered on the Grow Beyond Family Camp Sri Lanka 2017. The question sound so easy to answer.  Here's the exact answer I wrote on my paper: I am Jennifer Cleofe Arellano I am a child of God I am a daughter of a King I am the eldest & the only daughter in the family I am an expectant from the Lord on this camp. Its common to start by telling our name. Our name is our first identity for others to know us. But sometimes even our name is a duplicate of someone. I tried to search my name in google ..read more

Dear Jen, Its been 36 years that we known each other though sometimes we doubt each other - capabilities, strengths and even our feelings towards situations, people and even to our own. We been together from the start, you heard my first cry and saw the first tears on my eyes You are with me on my first step and even on my first fall. You witnessed how I tried to get all my achievements in life - its not easy by the way especially to live on the expectations of others and more harder to stand on your expectations. But we surpassed it together through the help of our Maker. Its been ..read more
