HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA) — Authorities extricated two people out of their vehicle after a two-vehicle crash in Huntington Beach on Monday morning. According to fire officials, the collision happened at 8:18 a.m. on the intersection of Yorktown Avenue and Newland Street, when two pickup trucks collided. On of the vehicles crashed into a nearby pole. Crews treated three patients at the scene, two of which need to be extricated. HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA) — The body of a diver that disappeared was located after an hours-long search on Sunday. The diver was reported missing at around 10:30 a.m., near the Elly Oil platform off the coast of Huntington Beach. Apparently the diver was part of a group that launched from Long Beach. Multiple agencies gathered to search, including the Long Beach Fire Department and the United States Coast Guard, which began searching via air and then sea. Ernby, who specialized in environmental and consumer law, joined the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in 2011. SUNSET BEACH (CBSLA) — Huntington Beach police identified the alleged gunman in the shooting of a 66-year-old bicyclist in the quiet neighborhood of Sunset Beach. The suspect, Manuel D. Silva, 40, was placed in custody for attempted murder after he allegedly wounded a man biking down the greenbelt near Sunset Beach with his wife. Police shot and apprehended Silva shortly after he opened fire on the couple. Silva and the victim were transported to the hospital after the shooting. LONG BEACH (CBSLA) – Huntington Beach Police were in pursuit of a suspected drunk driver in a stolen vehicle on Sunday. Police vehicles surrounding a vehicle wanted in a pursuit on Sunday evening.
