Man accused of drunk driving with child receives sentence

COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) – A man accused of driving while intoxicated with a 6-year-old passenger entered a plea deal in his case last week and received his sentence. Joshua Kennedy, 33, pleaded no contest and was found guilty Thursday of child endangering and OVI charges. He received a 20-day jail sentence and was placed on probation for two years, according to court records. Records state that he also must avoid alcohol and receive treatment for substance abuse, as well as perform 20 hours of community service. On Tuesday morning, a plaque was dedicated to honor Private First Class Donald M. Dyce. He was drafted while in high school back in 1968. When he was just 20 years old, he was killed in action.
