ALBANY - Mayor Kathy Sheehan ordered Lakeside Road in Washington Park — the scene of "dangerous situations" caused by speeding drivers — permanently closed.  The immediate action announced Friday comes amid a traffic study looking into pedestrian safety and traffic calming improvements.
