GRANT COUNTY, Ind. — One man has died after a crash on I-69 in Indianapolis. According to the Indiana State Police, Officers were dispatched at 9:35 a.m. on a report of an injury-involved crash on I-69 northbound near the 269 mile-marker. The preliminary investigation determined that an Indianapolis man was driving a 2009 Chrysler minivan going northbound on I-69. The driver of the Chrysler rear-ended a 2022 Chevrolet Express for an unknown reason. This collision caused the Chevrolet Express to hit a 2021 Freightliner in front of them. INDIANAPOLIS —An Indianapolis man's violent robbery spree has earned him a 40-year stint in federal prison. More calls for reform after sentencing in officer's death

INDIANAPOLIS – A member of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Civilian Police Merit Board endorsed a call for sentencing reforms from the Indianapolis Fraternal Order of Police. The move comes after Elliahs Dorsey, convicted in the April 2020 death of IMPD Officer Breann Leath, criticized the sentence from Marion Superior Judge Mark Stoner. Dorsey, who was found guilty but mentally ill on multiple counts after his trial in February, faced a maximum sentence of 63 years in prison. It's a frosty start to Thursday with a Frost Advisory in place until 9 AM for much of central Indiana. Many not in the advisory are still seeing temperatures that have fallen to frost levels in the mid 30s. INDIANAPOLIS – An SUV rear-ended a police car early Thursday morning as officers were transporting a prisoner. It happened around 1:30 a.m. at East Washington Street and North Emerson Avenue. According to Indianapolis Metropolitan police, an officer was stopped at a red light when the SUV crashed into the back of the squad car. 4 injured in overnight crash on I-70

INDIANAPOLIS – Four people were taken to area hospitals following an overnight interstate crash on the east side of Indianapolis. It happened around 1 a.m. Thursday on I-70 eastbound near Arlington Avenue. According to Indiana State Police, the crash involved two vehicles. Four people were injured, although police didn’t reveal the extent of their injuries.
