EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 33-year-old man is in custody after allegedly shooting at a driver in East Hartford over an electric vehicle charger. Christon Jackson shot at the victim on Jan. 20 in the rear lot of the Bank of America branch on Main Street, according to police. The victim was not injured. (WTNH) - A third suspect has been charged with murder after last month's fatal shooting outside Waterbury Superior Court, Waterbury police say. 26-year-old Nicholas Chiapponi of Glastonbury was charged with murder and conspiracy at murder. The Biden administration is reimposing sanctions on Venezuelan oil, it announced on Wednesday. Officials said on Wednesday that Venezuela has not progressed enough toward free and fair elections, and as a result the administration is reimposing the sanctions that were lifted in October.  Companies will have 45 days to wind down their transactions with the nation’s oil and gas sector.
