19 for 2019

Last year I wrote a post about my goals for 2018 and I found it really helpful to keep me on track throughout the year. I didn't put too much pressure on myself to achieve them by a certain date or anything, and it certainly wasn't a "new year, new me" type of thing. It was just a list of things that I hoped to achieve, most of which I thought could be ongoing in years to come. I enjoyed it so much that I thought I would do the same thing this year. I've already written down my 19 for 2019 in my bullet journal but I thought I would ..read more

The Me & Mine Project – December 2018
Mrs Warburton

December has come and gone in the blink of an eye. I’ve been working hard to get all my orders for my shop finished so I could have a few days off with my boys before getting back into the swing of things and going into the New Year. I’m still reading the same book I was last month but I’ve also started reading One Day in December by Josie Silver which seems really good so far. And Joel and I have just started watching Riverdale on Netflix. So far, we are hooked. Elijah loved visiting Santa and Mrs Claus this month, he was very keen to go although he was a bit shy when we got there! On ..read more

20 for 2020

The last few years I have written a post about my yearly goals. At the end of each year, I like to reflect on the year that has passed and to think about where I'd like to be in 12 months time. I don't put any pressure on myself to complete these goals with within a certain time frame as a lot of them are lifestyle changes, and it takes time to create new habits. But it gives me a sense of purpose and motivation as I have something to work towards. I wanted to continue the tradition this year and share my 20 for 2020. Part bucket list, part goal setting with a focu ..read more

When you become a parent and you're in that newborn bubble of bliss, it's easy to believe that things are going to be all sunshine and rainbows. Your baby is perfect and adorable in every way, right? On the 14th of January 2020, we welcomed our second baby into the world. Isabella Michelle was born at 38+6 weeks weighing 3.2kg. During my pregnancy, we decided we didn't want to find out the baby's gender. All throughout my pregnancy, Elijah kept saying he thought the baby in my belly was a baby sister - it turns out he was right all along! His nickname for her during my pregnancy was Baby Sprinkle. It was the most wonderful surprise when our precious baby girl was born. She is absolutely perfect and we are all so in love with her. I am currently working on writi ..read more

Hospital Bag Checklist – Getting ready for Baby
Mrs Warburton

With my due date for baby number 2 quickly approaching I have my hospital bags all packed and ready to go. I remember as a first time mama feeling so overwhelmed and I ended up packing so much that I didn't even end up using. So I am taking less this time than I did when I was pregnant with Elijah, but I will be packing an extra bag of things that I will leave at home for someone to bring in just in case we end up staying longer than one night in the hospital. I'll be taking one bag for my things and one bag for baby's things. When I started packing my hospital bag ..read more

Well, I started off the year with every intention to write on my blog more…but of course when life gets busy somethings gotta give. And, unfortunately, at those times the first thing to go is my blog. In my last post back in January I mentioned that were moving abroad to live in Australia (where I’m from). We were so busy for the first few months of 2019 trying to get the house ready to sell, decluttering all our things, and packing everything we wanted to keep up to ship over there. Then, at the beginning of April we left the UK to start our new life in Australia. And then…fairly soon ..read more
