The Hyperia trains have today been unveiled as this glorious metal wing style design has been revealed to the public for the first time. Ahead of its grand opening tomorrow on April 6th the LEGOLAND Minifigure Speedway rollercoaster had its final checks today before it launches to the public tomorrow. It’s almost time to take to the track at LEGOLAND® Windsor as the resort’s ‘pit crew’ put the finishing touches to Minifigure Speedway, the world’s first LEGO® duelling rollercoaster. Today the Hyperia opening date was announced by Thorpe Park along with the first look at the brand new shark cabin accommodation themed around the brand new ride. Knocking Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach off its pedestal Hyperia will officially be the UK’s tallest coaster with a height of 236 feet. This new UK record-breaking rollercoaster will officially be opening on May 24th which marks Thorpe Park’s birthday as the park was officially opened back on May 24th, 1979. A Voltron opening date has today been announced along with a whole host of information ahead of the 2024 season. Voltron has been given the opening date of April 26 with the popular family attractions Alpine Express ‘Enzian’ and the ‘Tirol Log Flume’ set to open on May 14th. Heide Park today sent us over some information regarding their brand new dark ride labelled as ‘Germany’s scariest’ ahead of its grand opening on March 29th. The Efteling Grand Hotel is taking shape as the first contours of the building are becoming visible. Over the coming months, pieces of prefabricated facade elements are being lifted into place using a large crawler crane. More than 350 elements which range in weight from 3000 to 30,000 kilos will be assembled on site. The pieces will be put together like a puzzle including stucco, facade frames, windows, and doors.
