LAS VEGAS (KLAS) - For the last 20 years, the Southern Nevada Water Authority has been giving Las Vegas residents cash for each square foot of grass they convert to a desert landscape. LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas pastor agreed to a misdemeanor charge as part of a plea deal with Clark County prosecutors Monday in a case involving at least one child, according to court documents. Bobby Cornealius Smith, 46, agreed to an Alford plea, which is when a defendant does not admit guilt but does acknowledge there likely is enough evidence to cause a jury to reach a conviction, documents show.
