The very first commercial microprocessor from Intel was a 4-bit processor, called 4004. It was first launched in late 1971 and had its first commercial use in calculators, not in computers. It was designed to work in Calculators, automated teller machines and cash machines. It has 4-bit address bus and 12-bit addresses and 8-bit instructions.
