Hey! This is Chris V! I started this podcast because teens, like myself, need advice and wisdom from older Christian women. Unfortunately, teens tend to listen more to other teens than they do older, godly women. The Bible actually commands older women to teach younger women (Titus 2:4-5)! But how are we supposed to learn from them if we listen to other teens instead? In this podcast, you will..

As a Christian, you may be looking for practical ways to help deepen your faith and relationship with
God. While there are countless options out there, one that stands out is overnight retreats. Here's
how they can help you become responsible, mature, and draw closer to God.
Accepting Responsibility
A great way to help Christians better understand responsibility is by sending them on overnight
retreats. When you stay away from home and are forced to fend for yourself, you learn how much
work goes into everyday tasks. Also, if you make a mistake, you’ll kn ..read more

It's the Christmas season once more! While it's a wonderful time of year, full of ways to worship Christ and many different fun activities, it can also be a very busy time of year. When your schedule becomes busy, it can be hard to find time to spend with God in His Word, the Bible. (I know it's been a past struggle for me personally!) So, to help encourage you to spend more time in the Word this Christmas season, I've made a Bible reading plan PDF! This PDF is free to download, and you can find it down below. I pray that this plan helps you set your focus, hea ..read more

One question I've been asked by several girls this past month is, "How can I stay healthy during 2022?". This is such a good question, and I've had so many points, it was hard to write a blog post on! So, I have compiled several of my favorite tips to stay spiritually, physically, and mentally healthy below! (Also, if you have any of your own points, feel free to post them in the comments section below! I'd love to hear them. :)
Tip #1: Take at least 15-30 Minutes a Day to Read Your Bible
As Christians, we NEED to be spending time with God ..read more

Hey y'all, Chris V here! A few weeks ago, we were sent a question from one of you awesome girls:
Hi! I'm in junior high and I have a major crush on this guy in the grade above me. And a lot of people have told me that he likes me too but I am from a Christian background and I have no interest in dating until I'm about 20. I just don't want to tell my parents about it because I once told y mom about my crush but she said having a crush is ok but i can't act on those feelings. I just do not know what to do.
She isn't the only one with questions about the topic of crushes from ..read more

It's the Christmas season! What's the first thing that come to mind when you think of this time of year?
'Tis the season for time with family
'Tis the season for holiday parties
'Tis the season for a break from school
'Tis the season for unwanted fruit cake
'Tis the season for Christmas decorations
'Tis the season for shopping, gift wrapping, and gift giving
'Tis the season for THE PERFECT family photo for all of the Christmas cards
And this is just a small number of the numerous things we think of when it comes to the Christmas season.

It's that time of year again... and we know what that means! Yep, you guessed it! A NEW December Bible Reading Plan! During the Christmas season, we tend to get very busy with holiday activities like doing advent, wrapping presents, and going to see Christmas lights. Sometimes, we even get so busy we forget to spend time with God in our daily devotions. (I'm definitely guilty of this!) This is why we created a free Bible reading plan available to download below. Each day, there is one chapter from the Bible to read for every single day of the month. This p ..read more

Okay, I know there hasn't been anything new in a LONG time... but that's all about to change! We're back (and just in time for the holiday season too!), and with new content just for you!
Personally, I've been really busy with school and work. On top of that, I had no idea what to write or make new podcast episodes on. So, I ending up hitting pause on A Message for Christian Girls for a few months. After some prayer and encouragement from others around me, I'm going to hit unpause and start releasing more content!

One of the perks of being a history major in college was finding treasures buried deep within otherwise long, laborious reading assignments! I found one such gem while working through a two-volume, nearly 1,900 page account of 19th century revivals in Wales. I was reading about one of the lesser-known traveling preachers of the period, a man with the odd-sounding name of Dafydd Cadwaladr. At nineteen, Dafydd was radically saved and shortly after composed a “covenant,” giving himself to serve the Lord.
The idea of covenant-making seem ..read more

For some of you, school isn't far off from starting. And from what I've heard from other girls, school is one of the main stress factors in their lives! Or, maybe it's not school. Maybe it's work, friend issues, or family issues stressing you out. The definition of stress from Merriam-Webster is "...a physical, chemical, or emotional factor that causes bodily or mental tension and may be a factor in disease causation". Most of us will experience stress at some point in our lives. While stress is painted as a "normal" part of life, it's not ..read more
