Remember that ticklish feeling
The grandeur so appealing
The sparkling beauty at every carnival
With charms absolutely irresistible
Memories of my childhood, cloud my judgement,
Getting sick overpowered by nostalgic attachment.
Sitting with my mum and dad, happiest days of my life,
My sister and I laughing, the life stones keeping me alive.
A dream I had, a while ago,
Witnessing with you, the most beautiful rainbow.
Recreating that kiss, under its imaginary mistletoe.
Letting the calmness play through that age-old stereo.
The mountains of destiny,
Destroying every wheel of misfortune.

Poem for ‘The Storm Outside’
Getting lost by the glimpse of our surroundings
Engaging in our soul purpose, the ultimate grounding.
Growing through the soil covering our feet,
Sinking underground, crumbling the overused attendance sheet.
Finding our presence, a life of euphoria
Bending its existence, changing existential dysphoria.
A catalyst to the future unknown,
Shout it all through your internal megaphone.
To the person, lost in the crowd,
Let’s together jump towards that overly saturated cloud.
A bit closer to your final answer,
Unlocking your potential, through the fateful anchor.

Lost in the realms of time
Pursuing a life, not meant to be mine
Bells ringing inside, discovering an infinite world of paradigms
Passing through the right path to climb.
A door opens and gazing in awe
Peace lingers, worlds collide as you make your own law
Present yourself the future you saw.
Grasp the possibility,
Claim yourself, before prolonged senility.
Look back at life with no hostility.
Run from there, far away
Today is your final day.
Don’t grasp at your chest breathlessly,
The door will close soon, understand this complexity.
A forever loop of ecstasy,
A prison of no empathy.

To me and you, let’s keep on moving,
Living through everyday life and pursuing,
Our world is far apart, I can only hope,
That one day we can catch a glimpse, through a nearby shop.
The fate of the red string is tied to our fingers,
We can only feel its sense as it lingers.
I can only hope when you look at me,
It brings a question up in your mind over a cup of tea.
Holding your hand and looking in your eyes,
Before we part away, overlooking a beautiful sunrise.
To you, from me.
Together we are free.
Deep underneath, the big blue sea.
I love you, through this eternal marquee,
Give me a chance to ..read more

In the midst of our daily chaos
We forget to feel,
Wishing to pave our way to eternal hiatus and heal.
Would peace unveil itself, guiding us to coexist
Showing conflict that heightens emotions we have missed
Driving the sensation, as we initially kissed.
Life implements reasons metaphorically
A never-ending loop of hostility and immaturity
Accurately representing us historically.
The end would come soon
Midst of the summer solstice in June
Marking the appearance of a blue moon
As we together navigate to another world, that very afternoon.

I never thought this day would come in my anime watching journey. I have finished watching all of Jojo, read part 6 and now am reading part 7. Jojo has always been on my radar but because of the amount of episodes it had, I was always intimidated by it.
I remember joining an anime society, back in my first year of university, and that was the first time I came across Jojo. I only watched one episode but from it, I understood that it had something to do with a stone mask. Only if I knew how that stone mask and Dio will impact the story in the future.
I still wasn’t keen on starting it but last ..read more

When starting anything new, we intern our way through
Surrounded by individuals, feeling a bit blue.
You tell yourself, it’s hard to fail
When you start out with making tea and sending mail.
Unforeseen circumstances brought you to a printer,
A new task, completed through the flick of a finger.
Shivering in anticipation
In need of some intense hydration.
Gulp it and just do,
Three steps, pull through!
It has bespoken,
Leaving you heartbroken.
Step back, breathe.
Go back to autopilot, relief underneath.
Hear the birds chirping
And noodle slurping.
Return to your familiar territory.
Although not ..read more

Closing a book, sitting and sipping tea
Living a life, not very carefree
I move forward, rubbing my eyes blindly.
Frustrated by the lack of everyday motivation
The overwhelming university syllabus, makes me sigh in confusion
Everything feels like an optical illusion.
Walk and walk, I’ll reach an end soon
One I dread, one I didn’t know I wanted to see this noon
Hot tears run down my face, a new phase of the moon.
I told myself to storm away
Find a direction, I wanted to walk every day
My path might be rough, I won’t stumble
A life where I won’t crumble
Trapped in a sunlit marquee I don’t ha ..read more

I used to count the stars above my head every night
While hiding away in my blanket from fright
Worried I’ll spot someone staring back, glowing brighter than a headlight.
It never felt lonely looking up
Someone else might be there, lying next to a shattered teacup
As I fall down in the race to the top.
Getting lost here gives a sense of peace
Concerned of tainting a perfect record, have me at ease.
Maybe I wasn’t meant to grab hold of the stars
When did that become a means to uphold your status bar
Sick and tired, I’d rather be happy, away from people so sour.
A lifetime worth of tears, I’ve a ..read more

We hold the key to these little wonders
I’ve sat underneath you during every thunder
Your life passing through my eyes, don’t surrender
We stopped your magic by stomping you under
It’s our big blunder
And we can’t even hold the responsibility for this plunder
Don’t you want to sprinkle their magic all over?
Holding you in our hands, my white clover
How can you tolerate this injustice and pain?
All of my regretful, growing in my heart so bloodstained
You go unnamed, tied to us through an invisible chain
Look at me, run, run before we destroy you forever
Don’t return, otherwise, you’ll fail my e ..read more
