Our favourite dishes were: Chuo is a really cool and quirky spot serving excellent sushi in Shoreditch. There the dishes are fantastic value with no compromise on presentation and quality! Spanish Restaurant in Fitzrovia Boca a Boca is a Spanish restaurant in Fitzrovia with a focus on authentic Spanish dishes but with Ukrainian hospitality at its heart. The restaurant is split across 3 floors with bold colours on the walls and foliage dotted around. We started our evening with two amazing cocktails – a pomegranate and a lychee sour. Focusing on smaller tapas dishes and larger main dishes, our favourites from the menu were: Each dish was elevated in flavour compared to some other tapas restaurants I have visited. The charcoal cheesecake is a must order – it has a rich and creamy ..read more

Indian Cuisine in Piccadilly Circus Farzi restaurant offers contemporary Indian cuisine in Piccadilly Circus in the heart of the West End. With modern twists on some Indian classics, Farzi has mouthwatering dishes that seriously impress. The interiors are sleek but cosy and the service was excellent. Cocktails were creative and beautifully presented – we loved the Fortune Teller and Mango Cosmo. The Taste of Farzi menu (meat or veggie) is a great way to try some of Farzi’s best selling dishes. Starting with popadums you then share 4 starters: We also had a couple of extras of Butter ..read more

Japanese Restaurant in Marylebone Junsei is an authentic Japanese restaurant in Marylebone focusing on yakitori. This style of cooking elevates and honours every part of the chicken giving a zero-waste concept. Every part of the chicken is skewered (in over 20 different variations) and grilled over white-hot binchotan charcoal, which is the soul of yakitori. We loved the Yakitori cooked fresh at the bar. The thigh, crispy chicken skin and chicken meatball skewers were our favourites. The okra dobinmushi, mushroom and dashi served in an incredible broth was a hearty, delicious dish. Lastly, we ..read more

Italian Restaurant in the City of London Piazza Italiana is a gorgeous Italian restaurant in the City of London, just moments from Bank station. The venue is in the historical site of the British Linen Bank which has been restored since its inception in 1902. Sicilian chef, Remo Mazzucato, has over 50 years of experience around the globe. The pasta was fantastic – we loved the Tagliolini Al Tartugo spun in a pecorino wheel with fresh black truffle and the Rigatoni with braised ox cheek ragout. The Pomodoro Dolc Alla Fragola dessert was outstanding coated in white chocolate with honey, basil an ..read more

Italian cuisine in Marylebone Carlotta is the newest addition to the popular Big Mamma Group joining Gloria, Circolo Popolare, Jacuzzi and Ave Mario. This Italian restaurant in Marylebone is a little more intimate than its other four venues but is still set over two floors. The first floor is a striking dining area with plush sofa seating, booths, underlighting and paintings on the wall. Downstairs is plush red which matches the vibe in the toilet (go check it out!). The menu serves up Neapolitan and Sicilian classics with an Americano twist. It was the best meal I’ve had at a Big Mamma restau ..read more
