Modern Day Martyrdom

After graduating from college, I landed a job teaching English in Japan. Traveling to “the land of the rising sun” marked the fulfillment of a lifelong goal, mainly owing to my Japanese ancestry and fascination with the culture and language. During my four years in a rural village in Kumamoto Prefecture, on the southernmost of the main islands, there were countless things about the people and customs that fascinated (and sometimes frustrated) me. But perhaps the most intriguing “group within a group” was the Christian community I encountered. The Japanese are known for being a society marked ..read more

The Secret To Perfection
Our Warpath Blog | Catholic - Soul. Mind. Body.

“Be you therefore perfect, as also your heavenly Father is perfect” (Matthew 5:48). The immediate reaction which most have to that verse is one of fear—good. It means that faith of some kind is present in their soul. But as St. James put it best in James 2:20: “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” Perfection, as St. Thomas Aquinas says, comes in three kinds, all of which are founded in the capacity to have charity, or love: the first perfection, the kind that is absolute and loves as much as it is loved, only God has; the second is a kind of perfection available ..read more

The Movement That Cried Red Wave
Our Warpath Blog | Catholic - Soul. Mind. Body.

Let's be honest, midterms did not go as planned. There was talk of a red wave and besides the red tsunami that occurred in Florida, Republicans, to put it nicely, got slaughtered. Currently the establishment media and career politicians want to place the blame on Donald Trump. I can assure you, the problem isn't Donald Trump, it’s the Conservative movement. The biggest issue plaguing the Conservative movement is that there is no creed uniting the movement, and therefore it is no longer a sustainable identity for people like myself and other fellow Catholics or even devout Christians. What doe ..read more

Our Warpath admin@ourwarpath.com September 9, 2022 DECLARATION OF WAR A Call to Consecration With the first satanic rebellion came the first glorious response: Who is like God? And throughout the history of the creation this epic primeval war continues battle after battle, century after century, country after country. While the forces of good may simply wish to live in the tranquility of order, the ancient enemy and his legions, restless in their eternal exile, continue to rebel and foment rebellion. When this rebellion entered the Garden, and disobedience bit the apple in Eden, man's life on ..read more

The Importance of Viewing Christianity from an Ancient Jewish Perspective
Our Warpath Blog | Catholic - Soul. Mind. Body.

Catholicism, Lutheranism, Mormonism, the Church of Scientology, Church of God… The number of Christian denominations in the world is baffling for anyone wanting to attend a church and does not know where to go. Ironically, the non-denominational Christian realm is also its own denomination. Each denomination splinters from another based on one or more dogmatic conflicts, and this is overwhelming for any newcomer–and, perhaps, also for someone who has become an atheist and is once again considering living faithfully. The clamors and calls of media outlets pull every which way, and people all o ..read more

Make America Hate Again

“America, it is said, is suffering from intolerance — it is not. It is suffering from tolerance. Tolerance of right and wrong, truth and error, virtue and evil, Christ and chaos. Our country is not nearly so overrun with the bigoted as it is overrun with the broadminded.” — Fulton Sheen We have been conditioned by our society to think that tolerance is the greatest of virtues. Men and women were instructed to believe what doesn't involve them, won’t hurt them. Yet, Americans now find themselves in what seems to be an irreversible and catastrophic situation. Our country is certainly fighting a ..read more

Diocese Bans March For Catholics From Praying The Rosary
Our Warpath Blog | Catholic - Soul. Mind. Body.

The bishop, who appears more Protestant and relativistic than Catholic, has banned Catholics from praying at the Cathedral of St. Mary or any other parish within the diocese. Bishop Louis Tylka refused to speak directly to representatives of Catholic podcast and website Our Warpath after denying access to the cathedral for prayer for participants in the March for Catholics. Imagine a Catholicism where prayer is forbidden. That is precisely the thing which is happening in Peoria. The prayer of faithful Catholics has been forbidden inside the churches. The March for Catholics, scheduled to be h ..read more

Harmless fun until a few nights ago. In the last episode we watched, Phil and his crew traveled to San Francisco. When Phil entered a famous oyster and seafood bar, he met a college friend from New York. The latter was also in the Holly ..read more

March For Catholics

The world is falling apart. It seems no matter where we turn or how we choose to view the circumstance at hand, we are forced to recognize the harsh reality that the world is crumbling; Catholic clergy not only advance liberal ideology, but also condemn that which made the Catholic Church once flourish, the truth. The truth has been beaten and battered down. The truth has been “debunked” and canceled. The truth has been condemned and stamped extreme, making all those that adhere to it extremists, crazies, radicals, lunatics, and bigots. The Catholic Church is under siege not only from the out ..read more

The Heresy of Pride Month
Our Warpath Blog | Catholic - Soul. Mind. Body.
by Amelia Monroe Carlson

If you are to listen to people like Fr. James Martin, S.J., Catholics are to celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month with homosexuals and those living in sin. According to Martin’s latest film, Building A Bridge, Catholics should join in celebrating pride month as a celebration of “love”. However, it is not love but sin which is being celebrated. If one wants to celebrate love in the month of June then one needs look no further than the Sacred Heart of Jesus, also celebrated in June. It is Jesus, not the lies of the pits of hell, that is the picture of real love. There are two common definitions for here ..read more
