October is breast cancer awareness month and we’re sharing April’s story, who was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer when she was 37 years old. April had 16 rounds of chemotherapy and 30 rounds of radiation, as well as a mastectomy.  When she was diagnosed, her life was centered around her two young daughters and her hair salon, which she owned and managed.
