According to City-Data.com, the population has grown by 42.9 percent since 2000, and according to Trulia, prices for residential homes have increased along with the population. On a recent Friday afternoon while many of you were hard at work, a fun- loving group of architects, engineers and students gathered at a Denver sports bar to display and break gingerbread bridges in hopes of taking home the coveted Gingerbread Cup! Still Feeling the Flood?

It’s been six months since torrential flooding across northern Colorado destroyed homes, damaged highways and rerouted rivers. In total, the flooding that hit the area between September 11th and 15th, affected 20 counties in an area of nearly 2,000 square miles and destroyed approximately 2,000 homes.
