Disney’s Hollywood Studios first opened on 1st May, 1989, and was known as the Disney–MGM Studios Park. Major details for this year's EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival have been revealed! The festival, presented by CORKCICLE, will take place at Walt Disney World between 29th August and 23rd November, 2024. Efteling has announced that it will be giving Stoomtrein an electric makeover. The fantasy-inspired theme park, located in the Netherlands, will scrap its coal-powered trains in favour of battery power. Efteling is not the first theme park to take steps to become more environmentally friendly. Disney recently announced that its Autopia vehicles, currently powered by gas, would be going electric. Disneyland has announced the return of two popular guided tours. Both the Cultivating the Magic Guided Tour and the Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour will be available from 11th May 2024. The tours last two hours each and allow guests to delve deeper into the details of Disneyland Park not usually seen on a regular trip. Universal Studios Japan has announced that the opening of Donkey Kong Country at Super Nintendo World is delayed. The area was originally intended to open in spring, but the provisional date has now been moved to late 2024. The new expansion will increase the size of this land by 70% and will include a mine cart-style roller coaster based on the popular Donkey Kong video game. Plus, guests will be able to use their Power-Up Bands to collect coins and be featured on the score leaderboard. Leah Chase, previous Head Chef at New Orleans restaurant Dooky Chase, has long been cited as the inspiration behind The Princess and the Frog.
