Hooded Scarf Crochet Pattern

This hooded scarf crochet pattern uses one of my favorite yarns – City Tweed from WeCrochet. I picked up a few balls of this pink color at last year’s Big Yarn Sale super cheap, but just hadn’t found the perfect project for it. Thankfully this fun scarf popped into my head! My daughter tells me it needed to be blue, and I’ll probably never get her to try the pink one again, but it looks so good with her blonde hair! Sigh. Optional pockets and fringe finish it off! *Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, which means if you click on them and make a purchase I may, at no ..read more

Rainy Day Square

Here in the Pacific northwest, we get a lot of rain, so when I think of Fall, instead of thinking of pumpkins and crisp fall air, I often think of rain. I designed this square as a tribute to Fall in the PNW. The little V’s are like raindrops falling down the square or dripping down a windowpane. I actually love the sound of rain and to watch it fall – it’s one of my very favorite things. I hope you enjoy this square and have fun PNW style! *Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, which means if you click on them and make a purchase I may, at no additional cost to you ..read more

I hope you’ll join me in the Summer Stashbusting Challenge! This summer I made a goal to use up my whole box of cotton yarn – I don’t know if I’ll make it, but I’m sure going to try!
