Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Eleanor Heeps has signed a new long-term deal with the club. The Lilywhites announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon. The 20-year-old keeper continues to gain experience in the Spurs first team environment with a view to breaking into head coach Robert Vilahamn’s starting XI in the future. The North Londoners see Heeps as a real prospect and they have moved to tie her down until summer 2027. Crystal Palace will be without the services of top scorer Elise Hughes for a considerable period with the player having sustained an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury. The Eagles confirmed the devastating news this afternoon via a post on their official club website. It has been reported that Hughes sustained the injury during Sunday’s 2-0 victory over Lewes at The Dripping Pan. The forward was replaced by Araya Dennis after just 29 minutes of that match. Chelsea have confirmed that more than 30,000 tickets have now been sold for their UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final, second leg tie against FC Barcelona at Stamford Bridge. Southampton have completed this season’s fixtures at St Mary’s Stadium with a 3-1 victory over London City Lionesses this afternoon.
