The Finishing Touches this Summer
Life & Aspirations

I’ve been obsessed with pastels this Summer and it makes a nice change from my go-to navys and greys for Autumn Winter.  This pink tee from Reiss is mottled in design which provides texture to the look and is something a little more visually stimulating than a standard block colour and much more stand out. The shorts are one of my favourite pieces this season and from a brand I’ve recently fallen in love with, Club Monaco.  Slim in fit and the perfect above the knee length, the Chambray colour gives more texture to the overall look.  Chambray is not dissimilar to ..read more

Take A Fresh Approach To Your Workouts This Summer

Ever feel like you’ve hit a bit of a rut when it comes to your gym routine?  I was becoming bored, lacking motivation and frustrated with a lack of progress from my fitness regime and found myself ultimately in need of a routine refresh if you will.  Your body will always respond better to change of movements, exercises and machines and your mind will benefit from a fresh outlook too. Punishingly effective, rarely used and likely to always be vacant, the rowing machine is one of the most versatile pieces of cardiovascular equipment in the gym and I’ve often been guilty of avoiding th ..read more

A Classic Wardrobe Staple: The White Polo Shirt
Life & Aspirations
by Paul

When talking wardrobe staples and in particular wardrobe staples for holidays, the classic polo shirt is without doubt the standout contender.  Highly versatile and easy to pack, whether it’s long-sleeved, pique or cotton, the possibilities are endless and they are a cornerstone of any decent spring or summer outfit. I would like to say that this is not a sponsored post, but simply a discussion about clothing I enjoy that looks and feels great to wear. The Polo Shirt is timeless and for me it’s a design that has always played a role in my wardrobe, whether as an alternative to a ..read more

Hello All, This year has been a weird and crazy one, spending all my time locked inside due to being injured, then a global pandemic appears prolonging the lock-in upon my recovery, changing jobs and moving house. It has been a busy year personally, trying to find motivation to write a blog and ask myself “Why am I even interested?”, these introspective questions really cause undue stress, so I decided to distance myself from writing, just to write, and I looked for other hobbies. I had unhealthy habits gambling away my money with no reward and then struggling until the end of the month, but ..read more

Healthy Beginnings Pt. 2
Life & Aspirations

Hello All, To continue on from my last post, I was twenty-one and just finished up working for the summer, so I went back training as if I had not just missed three months of working out….big mistake. My first mistake, was picking up the same weight as before my work break, the second, feeling the tear and continuing to work through my workout plan of the day. The next month was a pain filled experience of physio for repairing a torn pec muscle, before not too long my lower back gave out on me, the effects of the forestry work, being bent over everyday. This set me further back with my weight ..read more

Healthy Beginnings Pt. 1
Life & Aspirations

People joke and call the weight gain when you first go to college the freshman fifteen, but in my case that was true, and more. This was me at 18 years old, 119 Kg and highly unhealthy and being honest I didn’t even realise it, I was happy and was enjoying my life, so what made me want to change this? Looking into my personal life, I could see the affects this lifestyle had on people close to me, then I began to look at myself, and realised that I was not wanting to change my body for the beach body benefits but for the health aspects. I made the decision to get in contact with a personal tra ..read more

Being Consistent

Hello again, I want to bring a small Q.O.L. update today: I updated the web page slightly to make it more aesthetic, still working the kinks out. Topics and categories will now be linked under the menu topics, Fashion, Health, Food and about me (less used section I feel) I am going to aim for two – three publishes per week to get everyone interested…I hope. Now, to move on, it’s been a few days since I last uploaded and as much as I wish I could say a lot has happened, with my current injury, I am still out of commission from doing anything too exciting. So I took the initiative to use the c ..read more

Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken. — Oscar Wilde. Hello World! The last couple of weeks of my life has been taken up by an entirely new experience, after having a medical issue with my leg, I have had my feet up constantly, having difficulty walking without crutches and slowly going crazy watching what feels like the entirety of Netflix. Then after recently becoming more interested in upgrading my fashion lifestyle, improving my physical lifestyle and getting back into home cooking, I saw how other influencers I follow on YouTube and other platforms grew in their own fields as expos ..read more
