In this episode, Milton closes out his series about the centers of intelligence by talking about being safe for Types 5, 6 & 7. Being safe, being heard and being seen are important for every Enneagram type to show up holistically. But for Types 5, 6 & 7, being safe hit deeper foundationally because of their primary emotion of fear. Milton discusses how these three types connect to their mental center by overthinking what could happen and how to prepare for it. He also shares egoic impediments for Type 5, 6 & 7 and practical tips to help them feel safer.

In this episode, Milton starts his short series about “being” through the different triads. He discusses what each triad wants to happen, what they struggle with and why it’s so important. It’s important for everyone to be seen, heard and safe, and each type in the center of intelligence has a specific one they connect to more deeply. Milton starts with being heard for Types Eight, Nine and One, and how they struggle with feeling like they’re not being heard by people around them.

The Harmony triads were developed by Dr. David Daniels by looking at the lens of how can each type can be connected through lines to each center of intelligence. Come to find out when we are able to connect the numbers that do not have a direct arrow to each center of intelligence, they receive harmony in the connection. This episode we explore how the 3, 6 and 9 can work in harmony with each other. The teachings used in this explanation of the harmony triad is a different approach that I learned from Marion Gilbert who learned it from Helen Palmer.
