April is the last month to apply for the John W. Youtsey Memorial Scholarship. The money is granted to eligible Hemophilia of Georgia clients to pay for education after high school. You must qualify before applying. Submit your online pre-qualification form by May 1 to see if you qualify. To qualify, you must: Be an HoG client with hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, or other inherited bleeding disorder. If you are a child of a parent who died of bleeding disorder problems and your parent was an HoG client, you can also apply. Live in Georgia AND be a permanent resident for one year. Camp Wannaklot is July 7-12, 2024! We are so excited to celebrate our 31st summer of Camp Wannaklot at our new location at Camp Twin Lakes Will-A-Way in Winder, GA.  We are looking forward to this move as it will provide new and different program opportunities for our campers and the families that attend our Family Camp weekends. Georgia’s 2024 legislative session is in full swing, and we are excited to share that HoG Day at the Capitol took place in person for the first time since 2019! Our staff and volunteers gathered at the State Capitol on Monday, February 26th, 2024, to educate and advocate for the bleeding disorder community.
