As the saying goes…you can’t have flowers without the rain! Hello everyone! I hope spring is just popping up where you live! Today I’m sharing this cute spring rain card using the Signs of Spring Digital Stamp Set. This has so many elements so there are plenty of ways to use this set! Let me show you how I made my card. I started by composing my card in the computer. I went through several size changes until I achieved what I wanted. I also used a piece of digital paper behind my design for a gray sky. I kept the coloring of this card to a minimum. There r ..read more

April 2024 Calendar Printable

My bullet journal spread this month was inspired by some of the little hints of spring popping up in my garden at the moment: those early flowers and the return of the creepy crawlies! I absolutely love this time of year when nature wakes up and new growth starts to emerge, it’s probably my favourite time of year. Given the weather we have been having of late, I also included a little nod to the famous April showers in my design too! As usual, I scanned my finished page, tidied up the drawing a bit and created this printable version for you to play with too. Download Monday Start Download ..read more

How do you make a cup of coffee better?  By adding a cupcake – of course!  Hello everyone! Today I’ll be sharing this cute coffee break card using the Coffee and Cupcakes digital stamps.  I love the designs in this digital stamp set!  I composed my design in the computer and placed a piece of digital paper from my stash behind the elements of the card design to create the coffee style background. Before coloring the image, I used a rectangle die to trim my panel.  I do this because it gives me a better sense of how the finished product will look. I had a pretty goo ..read more

I am thrilled to share Creative Team member Shruti’s wonderful little mini-album with you today! Created as a family keepsake for her children, this little mini-album will hold photos of family members, notes and other memories and I am sure it will be treasured for many years to come! The accordion album was constructed by cutting two 4.25″ strips of cardstock from a 12×12 sheet, joining them together and folding to create 3″ wide pages with a 0.25″ gusset between each page. The gusset helps add dimension to the album and allows some extra room to add all those fun embellishments and photo ..read more

This month’s calendar printable is a nod to the patron saints of both Wales and Ireland (whose Saint’s Days are both celebrated this month) combined with a look forward to some spring-sunshine filled days that are hopefully on their way very soon! I’ve included some lovely daffodils for St. David and some shamrocks for St. Patrick along with a handful of daisies for a fun, flower filled spring themed spread. I’ll gloss over the fact that I had to do some surgery to this page after a slight error stamping for the day numbers. Thankfully it was nothing that some white gel pen and a bit of black ..read more

Princess birthday card tutorial

Hello crafters, I hope you’re all well. I’ve got another card tutorial for you. Strap in – I’ll talk you through it! My first step was to print my Princess from ‘Happily Ever After‘ onto some White Super Smooth card. When using alcohol markers (which I’ll be doing) it is essential to use a good colouring card in order for the markers to blend. I trimmed this panel down to approx 1cm smaller round each edge than a UK A6 card blank. I went ahead and coloured my princess using my Copic Markers. Dress: R32, R43, R20 Hair: YR31, YR23, YR20 Skin: E51, E31 Tiara: E27, Y35, Y15, Y11 I added my usual ..read more

I’m sharing the final packs in my All The Family collection with you today: the adults! I think my favourite of the whole collection might be the older adults set (although I do also have a soft spot for the funky coloured hairstyles of some of the teenage sets too!) The All The Family collection is designed to allow you to mix and match across all the co-ordinating packs to create your own personalised family themed pages and projects. The first of the new additions is a set of adults that are perfect for depicting mums, dads, aunties, uncles, step-parents etc in your family projects! And t ..read more
