Suspense from beginning to end as York and RJ crisscross Europe trying to reunite. I loved the action and the tension. Beautiful settings. The characters are quite memorable. And I loved the surprise visit by another author's characters! I think this may be my favorite Susan May Warren book yet! Although I can't wait for the conclusion of their epic adventure in No Matter The Cost! I suggest you block off your weekend, get your snacks and beverages ready and turn your phone off, then binge read all 3 books in RJ and York's epic adventure! All thought's are my own. The Sisters Of Sea View (On Devonshire's Shores #1) By Julie Klassen
Henry Happens and other tales of life in the wilderness

The Sisters Of Sea View is the perfect book to enjoy on a long snowy weekend. Sea View is a large home on the shore in Devonshire England owned by the Summer family. I loved the way the Summer sisters work together to open a boarding house, something being gentleman's daughters, they know nothing about. The setting is gorgeous and the family dynamics are well thought out. Ms. Klassen has done a wonderful job of adding a bit of Dicken's whimsy to the characters. I highly recommend The Sisters Of Sea View and look forward to the second book in the series. There are many more tales to te ..read more

I don't usually read or review non-fiction but I was intrigued by the premise of Jonathon Cahn's newest book, The Return of the Gods. If you are wondering how our country has gotten to it's current state of affairs this book is a must read. although I find Jonathon's writing a bit repetitive the information is well worth reading. I highly recommend this book. I bought my own copy and all thoughts are my own. From Amazon: In The Return of the Gods, Cahn takes the listener on a journey from an ancient parable, the ancient inscriptions in Sumer, Assyria, and Babylonia that become the p ..read more

Lynette Eason is one of the best writers of suspense in today's  market. Her books keep you on the edge of your seat and keep you reading long after bedtime. Her books are always on my instant read list. Critical Threat is the third book in her Extreme Measures series and I was delighted to learn that there will be a fourth! I loved the interaction between Grace and Sam. They seemed like real people and they had realistic conversations. I enjoyed having Grace's friends from the previous books visit but would have liked them to be a bit more prominent in this book. The suspense wa ..read more

Freddie and Grace (Lord and Lady Astley) are two of my favorite characters in all of fiction. Pepper Basham has done it again, creating an awesome adventure in Cairo. I loved the setting of abandoned tombs. The description of the social rankings in 1900 Cairo were fascinating. Pepper's dedication to detail make reading her her books delightful. So brew up some chai tea to enjoy while you read The Cairo Curse! I was given a copy of this book by the publisher with no expectations. All thoughts are my own.   Stay With Me, book 3 of The Waters of Time books by Jody Hedlund was absolutely fabulous! I loved the setting of Canterbury England, both present day and medieval times. To have both functioning castles of the past and the same castle existing as a ruin in present times. I really enjoyed the storyline. Sybil and Nicholas were a wonderful couple, both strong and independent, yet trying to overcome feelings of loss and abandonment. I was reading along enjoying the story, when along came a plot twist that I never saw coming, such a satisfying end to this book, but also a fascinating lead ..read more
