Last week, Kris Barras Band announced their intention to try to help save independent venue The Booking Hall in Dover by booking a one-off show there this June to increase footfall and raise awareness of the plight facing the venue. The grassroots venue is at risk of permanent closure and now crowd-funding to buy their freehold with the support of the Music Venue Trust.
