I met Chuck by buying chickens for our organic egg farm from him and his partner Christine's small business High Valley Hatchery (yes! they mail chicks!). Chuck's story is meant to inspire others and help relieve the stigma placed upon cannabis and cannabis users. Battling Parkinsons Disease and Life in general, Chuck's story was uploaded here in completely raw form, absolutely no edits or censoring on our end, we felt it important to bring you Chuck's Story exactly as told. How Cannabis Kills Cancer! Biochemist Explains
Hempvada Blog

Killing cancer as simply put by biochemists, research suggests when THC connects to the CB1 or CB2 cannabinoid receptor site on the cancer cell, it induces an increase in ceramide synthesis that leads to cell death. A normal cell does not produce ceramide when it is near THC; therefore it is not affected by the cannabinoid.   The reason the cancer cell or any mutating cell dies is not because of the cytotoxic chemicals, but because there is a small shift in the mitochondria. The purpose of the mitochondria within a cell is to produce energy for the cell to use. As the ceramide is produce ..read more

In 1937, the U.S government implemented "The Marijuana Tax Act", thus criminalizing every cannabis species; including hemp, the plant's non-intoxicating family member. The movement was led by Harry Anslinger, who served as the first commissioner of the U.S. Treasury Department's Federal Bureau of Narcotics. Anslinger drove up a racist driven hate campaign to demonize the plant, but the fact remains, it's hemp's therapeutic healing powers and industrial flexibility that inspired the campaign. Hemp enthusiasts believe that the plant's potential to crumble government-funded industries is the reas ..read more

Archeological evidence of cannabis being used by the human-race dates back over 10 thousand years. Total THC vs. Delta-9 THC Standard The 2018 Farm Bill defines “hemp” as, in part, “acids with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol “THC” concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” Most people interpreted this statement literally, to mean that “only” the delta-9 THC content in hemp would be used in determining compliance with the state and federal statutes. Though in other states like Colorado, legislators interpreted the federal statute to mean that because THCA is an acidic cannabinoid that “contains” THC, it must be added to the THC concentration to ensure that their total ..read more
