IDAHO FALLS — Joshua “JJ” Vallow and Tylee Ryan were remembered for their big hearts and loving personalities during a Celebration of Life Saturday afternoon.
Over 200 people gathered in the Colonial Theater and thousands watched from around the world as family members and friends honored the two children, whose remains were found buried on Chad Daybell’s property in June 2020.

Four people were charged with felony child endangerment and other offenses after medical personnel reported finding meth and fentanyl in the system of an 11-month-old baby Wednesday.
OGDEN, Utah (KSL.com) — An 11-month-old baby was rushed to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden Wednesday, showing signs of drug exposure. The child was lethargic and vomiting when brought in, and a toxicology test showed positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl, according to court documents.

IDAHO FALLS — A Celebration of Life is being held Saturday afternoon in honor of Joshua “JJ” Vallow and Tylee Ryan.
Larry and Kay Woodcock, JJ’s grandparents, are hosting the memorial at the Colonial Theater in Idaho Falls. Musical tributes will be performed and Larry Woodcock will speak at the service.
The Colonial Theater is located at 450 A Street. Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. Visitation hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by the Celebration of Life from 1 to 2 p.m.

IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls Retro X2 is returning for its second year to celebrate pop culture.
The two-day Comic Con-style and family-friendly event will take place May 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Idaho Falls Elks Lodge No. 1087, at 640 E. Elva Street. More than 70 vendors will be selling vintage and retro collectibles, toys, comics, video games and more.

BOISE (Idaho Statesman) — The Ada County Coroner’s Office on Friday identified the teenage boy who was found dead in a home that police called “deplorable.”
The Boise Police Department said it was called to a home off West Russet Street after 8 a.m. April 18 after one of the boy’s parents called and said they’d found their teenage son dead.
The Coroner’s Office identified him as 14-year-old Dredonn Riach. Riach’s manner and cause of death haven’t been released by the coroner’s office, which said further information was pending an investigation.
