Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA), formerly called Churg-Strauss syndrome, is a rare form of vasculitis that primarily affects the small blood vessels. Individuals diagnosed with EGPA commonly have a history of asthma and/or allergies.
