Where I live it’s almost always summer. Heat prevails at any time of the year even through the rainy seasons. But nowadays it is getting a little hotter than usual and I often find myself standing in front of the living room fan. I do own a tiny one though, like a personal fan, which I keep with me in my room at all times and it is currently whirring quietly beside me at my desk; the soft humming ironically marring into my brain at almost four in the morning. Hello friends! Let me get a little informal — I haven’t written in a long while! It feels strange. Five years ago during rehearsals, I found myself enclosed within the confines of four tight walls: the upper left wing dressing room, painted black, with three people around me. Like most of the time I’ve found myself awake during the quiet hours of after dark, I’m currently alone with my senses yet again, listening to the not-so-faint sounds of the city below from hundreds of feet above.
