I've been skiing for pretty much my whole life, but now that I'm done growing I looking into buying myself new gear. I've already found skis, bindings, and poles that I like but I'm not sure what are the best boots to get. Weather looks like there will be a week of high temps 48/52 and lows 28/32 prior to ski date This will be my first time there and I’m trying to take my buddy out west for his first time. I made the best skier on the mountain post and cannot believe how it blew up. I know I’m not the best skier on the mountain. I am pretty good but not the best. Have kind of a unique situation. Wear a size 16 shoe and dont live in a ski town. Any suggestions on how to get in contact with a bootfitter that can help me? I have tried walking into a few shops while on vacation but they did not have anything in my size (probably about 31.5-32.5). I currently have a “beginner”high volume boot in a 32.5 that is the correct length and width but has too much volume and not high enough flex.
