By Kirk Petersen Paul-Gordon Chandler, who has been on administrative leave as Bishop of Wyoming since October 2023 because of an “alleged indiscretion,” has agreed to be deposed from ordained ministry, thereby ending a Title IV disciplinary case against him. “As of March 26, he is no [longer] serving as Bishop of Wyoming,” according to a statement from the Rev. The church’s vestry announced on March 17 that it has set up a sustainability task force to examine various options for balancing its budget and exploring different educational models that might allow it to maintain its choir of men and boys. “The Vestry is still committed to excellence in liturgy and music. However, for us to continue offerin ..read more

Lawrence Lew, O.P./Flickr We now stand at the epicenter of a great and wondrous sacred mystery, the glorious resurrection of our Lord from the dead. Christ has “broken the bonds of death and hell, and has risen victorious from the grave,” a victory we share as the adopted children of God (BCP, p. 287). We know this mystery as the lifeblood of our being. Indeed, so transformative is this mystery that the final enemy, death itsel ..read more
