Encouragement is very important to us. In school, at home, out and about we are always seeing people our age or younger achieving things that we have yet to understand. While we're young we don't see the difference between us and others because we're more focused on playing and doing creative learning things that hid that hide the fact that was actually meant to be learning. Their world has literally shifted in an unpredictable way, one they are not prepared for because being Autistic and Dyslexia is not normal. While I was at college and my teacher found out I was dyslexic he asked me a question that has always stuck with me. "What's it likes to be dyslexic?" I replied, "I don't know, what's it like being normal?" I don't think anyone in this univers ..read more
