At the beginning of quarantine, I used the low hair manipulation method of keeping my braided hair in a protective hairstyle for longer than usual. But afterwards I came to realize that it didn’t make it an easier process to remove the braids, in fact it damaged my hair.  Since I was not used to this, I had to do more with my hair to repair the dryness. This quarantine period has forced me to spend more time on my couch and online than I would want to – a sentiment that I’m sure many of you feel! You can imagine how happy I was when things started to slowly open up.
