Taking down 184 meters of chimney 29. March 2021 We have now commenced the final task in our year-long effort to demolish and recycle one of Denmark’s biggest coal-fired power plants, Enstedværket in Aabenraa. Only the 184 meters high chimney is still standing, but not for long. During the upcoming months we will dismantle the chimney bit by bit, starting with the inner steel pipe, which will be cut up in sections, appropriate for shipping and recycling. Working 5 to 22 29. March 2021 The demand for granulated and processed metal fractions has during the past few years steadily increased, and it only continues to do so. In order to honour the demand, we have launched a two-shift operation at our granulation plant in Aabenraa, keeping the plant in operation from 5am to 10pm.
