December 2019 Recap: The end of an era

Merry ChristmasI started super motivated into December and had the month layed out in my head already: planned interview with High Stakes crusher, plenty of grinding, plenty of studying. I was in a comfortable spot: Almost out of Make-Up, a new PC that finally can handle a HUD smootly and my game just had reached a new high peak. But from one moment to another all of that motivation was lost. Even worse, I basically got into a rather bad mood whenever I was thinking about Spin & Goes. The reasons for this is that Pokerstars raised the rake by 1% on my mainstake (60s/50s) while decr ..read more

Welcome to my November 2019 Recap and I wish all of you a joyful and reflecting advent season. Happy first advent. In November quite some stuff was happening. Plenty of talking with my current stable and people related to it about how things could run smoother/better in the future and while not all the matters are off the table yet, I think (and hope) that we (all parties) are on the right track! Spins aren’t my main priority at the moment anyways as everything I do right now ether targets my Vegas trip in March 2020 or just to have fun/joy! An important thing starting in December is that I ..read more

Happy Halloween! And welcome to my October 2019 Recap! As it is offical: I’m a High Stakes Spin & Go player now! Doesn’t it sound beautiful? Once more! High Stakes Poker Player! It was a very tough journey with quite some ups and downs and an enourmous amount of work to reach it, so yeah, it obiously makes me super happy! What is going to happen in the future doesn’t really matter. It’s quite funny. 2 years ago, before I even started playing my very first Spin & Go ever, I imagined every 30$ Spin & Go player is printing money, probably even be wealthy. Now I’m here, playing ..read more

Not a lot to write about so I keep it short and simple! Only important info is, that I can’t invest more money into poker for now until the Vegas trip is over, so therefor the MTT Recaps are on hold! I still love the format and it gives me great joy, but I simply can’t support it with my own money for now. The plan be the same in the future, only a little bit delayed! I will continue the MTT journey in April 2020! Stats for the monthly period Winnings: -210.38$ Tournaments total: 24 Avg. Buy-In: 10.43$ ITM: 8.33% ROI: -84 ..read more

September 2019 Spin & Go / Expresso Recap

In September I spent a lot more time relaxing with family & friends than usual and didn’t spend as much of my spare time on poker than I did previously (even if volume already was horrible for a few months). I can tell you that it just feels awesome! While I always looked at poker as my hobby it’s a lot more enjoyable if you actually treat it like a one. And for once I ran over Expected Value! putting my money in a box In the last 2 days of the month I mass multi tabled the rest of my required monthly volume (500 Spins) on a limit I couldn’t care less about (5€ Expressos). It’s fun to ..read more

Mid September MTT Recap

This month I enjoyed a few poker evenings with some MTTs. Not too big of a volume to write about, but whatever! This is a journey which prioritises fun and this is exactly how I’m approaching the situation. Sadly a lot of evening where a MTT schedule would actually fit I felt rather exhausted and didn’t want to deal with the consequences of playing until late in the night as it might interfere with the plans I had for the next day. So I prefered my passive hobby #1 chilling and relaxing! When I was sitting at the tables I always gave it my best. I already felt a lot more comfortable than the ..read more

August 2019 Spin & Go/Expresso Recap

I’m actually super happy about my volume in August as I had many many family obligations including my 30th birthday and therefore barely any days I could dedicate to grinding. When I found the time to grind it usually looked a lot like this: flushing down the moniez But I gave it my best at any time and sometimes there’s just nothing one can do. In general I’m having more fun with poker than I had for quite some time now. I’m only playing poker whenever I feel like it. I felt some pressure to play MTTs on the weekends as I don’t really have a lot of days where a MTT schedule would fit, b ..read more

Mid-Month MTT Recap

Here it is, my first monthly MTT Poker Recap! On the 12th of July my Multi Table Tournament journey began. I seperated a 1000$ Bankroll to start with and my plan is to apply a rather agressive BRM as I am pretty sure that my general poker knowledge should beat these limits with a rather nice winrate. Additionally I signed in for a “masterclass” to get my MTT game going. Due to having family stay over for 2 weekends and my current job situation I didn’t really manage to play a lot of MTTs yet. But there is no rush at all and I am happy with what I am doing. The low volume probably wil ..read more
