Have you prayed for something or someone and the Lord granted your request? The answer was probably instantaneous for some while others had a long wait for their answered prayers. The word of God says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Friends, prayer is communication with God and we as His children have this incredible privilege. I believe it is pouring your heart in whatever state it is to the maker. No matter how impossible it may look in the natural, we serve the God of th ..read more

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:34-35) As I sat looking at this picture, I felt like a melt down of God’s love. The one holding the friend with arms around is like Jesus holding us. If you notice the other person is not even embracing his friend though the other has wrapped his arms around him. I wonder the thoughts racing through his mind. Maybe he is feeling anxious, hopeless, or frustrated with life. Probably he has reached a point where no ..read more

An unexpected call at 7:33 am on 15th April from a friend saying, Ang, they think Alisha is gone, she is not responding. A moment of silence filled my being. Not ready to believe what I heard. I got dressed, reached her place along with my friend and her brother opened the door. I looked at him wanting to ask- is she ok? until I entered her room and saw her sleeping in peace. Even as I sat beside the bed touching her and brushing my fingers through her hair, with tears in my eyes I asked God to bring her back. Wake her up and make her well completely. Do what only you can do, Lord. But I gues ..read more

Love, what is love? Love is the essence of feeling His presence in the midst of pain. Love is the dripping of His sacrificial love for me even when I didn’t deserve it. Love is His constant thoughts toward me no matter the time. LOVE IS- reminding that His plans for me are good and to give me hope and a future. LOVE RAN RED on the day He gave his breath and said IT IS FINISHED. Thank Lord for your Love that I will never ever be able to comprehend. Pure ..read more

Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Last week I was praying to the Lord about my finances. This is one area I still must see a breakthrough. When I was contemplating why have I not yet? There was no answer but there was a strong presence of God that filled my being. I was so captivated that I began to smile, and it made me say some bold prayers. At that moment I believed, and I know that nothing is impossible for our God. For He delights to bless us with good things and our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ..read more

21+ days is a long time to stay in quarantine. Everybody is exchanging ideas about what one can do to pass the time away. I’ve heard some people say “Now is the time to make the most of Netflix and Amazon Prime”. Some scroll their thumbs on devices that surely gives them something to do but takes one nowhere. While others have rested enough to recover from their fatigue. A city like Mumbai can really keep you on the run and at the end of the day you actually have no time for anything but to get some sleep and start the same old routine. But right now things look so different. Even as I was ..read more

In whom do you place your TRUST?

When we don’t understand why certain occurrences happen, we are quick to reason things our own way. We get restless, , visit the past , play the blame game, look at the impossibilities and we deteriorate.   But if we change our focus, we are called to depend on God rather than our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6  reads, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;in all your ways submit to him,and he will make your paths straight. Let’s take the first line in this verse “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding ..read more
