In Finding my new Monday, I’ve loved meeting new people tackling their own versions of retirement, whether that’s a ‘second act’ or career reinventions or career pivots! But to meet new people isn’t always easy.

Our values can also help us navigate our futures, by asking ourselves what do we really value and how can we make sure we align our values into retirement or in a ‘second act’?
Defining our values can really help us id ..read more

The answer seems to be it depends! It may well depend on what work you did before you retired, or your current working environment and your health. According to one study by Dr Ephrem Cheng, a leading American scholar, on Age at retirement Vs Life Span, the investigation report, it found that the later executives in high powered roles retired the shorter their life spans! The results could be skewed with these executives facing enormous stresses therefore forming long term pressure states. Living in such a state over the longer term, has a strong correlation to your health in later life ..read more
